Shipping policy

MONDOR ships worldwide from Switzerland. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:


1) Address Accuracy & Delivery Confirmation

• Customers are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address at checkout.

• Orders are shipped exactly to the address provided. MONDOR is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.

• Once a carrier marks a shipment as “Delivered”, risk and responsibility for the package transfer to the customer.


2) Order Processing & Dispatch

• Processing times may vary depending on order volume, product availability, or holidays. Any timeframes provided are estimates, not guarantees.

• Orders cannot be modified once processing has begun.


3) Missed Deliveries & Held Shipments

• Customers are responsible for arranging redelivery or collecting parcels from their carrier/post office, and for communicating with customs if the parcel is held.

• If a parcel is returned to MONDOR because it was not collected or cleared on time, no refund will be issued. If returned, the order may be reshipped at the customer’s request, with additional shipping fees payable. If the parcel is not returned, no refund will be given.


4) Returned, Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

• Parcels returned due to incorrect/incomplete addresses, refusal to accept delivery, failure to pay duties/taxes, or failure to clear customs are not refundable.

• Customers requesting reshipment must prepay new shipping costs. If reshipment is declined, no refund will be issued.


5) International Duties, Taxes & Customs Fees

• All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and other charges imposed by local authorities. These charges are not included in MONDOR’s product or shipping prices and are the customer’s sole responsibility.

• Customers are considered the Importer of Record and must comply with local import laws and pay all applicable charges.

• Failure or refusal to pay may result in the parcel being held, returned, or destroyed by customs. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

• Customs regulations vary by country and are outside MONDOR’s control. Customers are advised to check their local import rules before ordering.


United States – Customs & Tariffs

• U.S. orders may incur duties, tariffs, or processing fees assessed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) based on declared origin and value.

• MONDOR is not responsible for U.S. tariffs, taxes, customs processing fees, or customs-related delays. These are the buyer’s responsibility.

• Customers are encouraged to check current CBP import rules before placing an order.


6) Country of Origin Declaration

 • All orders ship from Switzerland.

 • Some collections may be crafted in partner workshops abroad (e.g., in Europe or Asia). In all cases, the country of origin will be clearly declared on shipping labels and/or customs documentation, in compliance with international trade regulations.

• This ensures full transparency with customs authorities and protects both MONDOR and our customers.


7) Loss or Damage in Transit

• Once in the carrier’s possession, shipments are under the carrier’s control.

• If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, customers must file a claim directly with the carrier. MONDOR will provide reasonable assistance with information required to support the claim.

• MONDOR is not responsible for loss, non-claim, or damage occurring while the parcel is in transit, or after the carrier marks it “Delivered.”


8) Final Sale

• All sales are final unless expressly stated otherwise in MONDOR’s Refund Policy.

  • Customers have no general right of withdrawal or return under Swiss law.


9) Shipping Restrictions

• MONDOR may limit destinations, carriers, item values, or order quantities to comply with export controls, sanctions, or carrier restrictions.

• Non-compliant orders may be cancelled and refunded for the merchandise price only, excluding non-recoverable costs or fees.
