Refund policy

All Sales Are Final – No Returns, No Refunds

1) Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from MONDOR through our website. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below, which prevail over any conflicting terms provided by customers.

2) All Sales Are Final

All orders are final and binding once confirmed. MONDOR does not accept cancellations, returns, refunds, or exchanges under any circumstances, except where expressly required by mandatory Swiss law.

Under Swiss law, there is no general right of withdrawal for online purchases. Customers acknowledge that, by confirming their order, they waive any right to cancel or return.

3) Risk Transfer & Delivery

Responsibility for goods transfers to the customer at the time the order is handed to the shipping carrier.

MONDOR is not responsible for:

  • Delays in transit
  • Parcels lost, stolen, or unclaimed after dispatch
  • Parcels marked “Delivered” by the carrier but not received by the customer
  • Parcels misdelivered by the carrier

In such cases, the customer must file a claim directly with the carrier. MONDOR may assist with documentation but bears no liability or replacement obligation.

4) International Orders, Duties & Customs

All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and clearance fees imposed by local authorities. These are not included in product or shipping prices and must be paid by the customer upon arrival in their country.

Refusal to pay duties or accept delivery does not entitle the customer to a refund. If a shipment is returned or destroyed by customs, no refund will be issued.

5) Exclusion of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law (Art. 100 Swiss Code of Obligations), MONDOR excludes any liability for:

  • Defects, damages, or non-performance of goods
  • Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, savings, or data

This exclusion applies unless damage results from MONDOR’s gross negligence or willful misconduct. Products are sold strictly “as is”.

6) Non-Refundable Items

Without exception, the following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:

  • All limited edition or exclusive releases
  • Discounted or promotional items
  • Gift cards or digital products
  • Personalized or custom-made products
  • Products not in their original sealed packaging

7) Fraud & Abuse

MONDOR reserves the right to refuse service, cancel future orders, or deny assistance in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or repeated claims of non-receipt.

8) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy is governed exclusively by Swiss substantive law, excluding conflict-of-law provisions and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

 

The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of MONDOR in Switzerland. Customers outside Switzerland agree that all disputes must be brought solely before the competent Swiss courts.
